- Describe the current concepts regarding the histopathology of tendon pain
- Identify current hypotheses regarding intrinsic and extrinsic risk factors predisposing to tendon changes
- Identify common mechanisms for tendon injuries in the athlete
- Understand the efficacy of treatment modalities for managing tendon injuries in elite athletes
- Review the effects of eccentric exercises in this patient population
